Job Title: Research Development Manager

Job Description:

The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network is the largest paediatric healthcare entity in Australia, caring for thousands of children each year in our hospitals and in their homes.

We are seeking a Research Development Manager to play an essential role in developing and leading projects and initiatives that support our vision as a research-intensive organisation.

The primary purpose of this position will be to work with the Research Executive to deliver on a number of key projects associated with enhancing SCHN's capacity to attract and deliver high-performing research.

  • Developing and leading projects and initiatives to support SCHN's research strategy;
  • Working closely with the Research Executive to deliver on key projects;
  • Providing strategic advice to the Director of Research and Innovation;
  • Collaborating with other stakeholders to enhance the paediatric health and medical research landscape in NSW;
  • Conducting research activities at the Sydney Children's Hospital Network (SCHN).

This role requires excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
