The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our diverse team in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in managing a team of Impairment Benefit Specialists, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and achieving performance measures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively managing portfolios, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to drive continuous growth and innovation. This is a permanent, full-time role, based in our Melbourne office, with flexibility to work from home.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Impairment Benefit Specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure performance and KRA targets are met.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive team performance, foster a collaborative and customer-centric operating model, and identify areas for individual and organizational development.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation, maintaining awareness of industry developments and trends, and responding effectively to changes.
  • Ensure appropriate strategies are in place to maximize performance revenue, report, and use insights to inform business decisions.

About You

  • Experience in Impairment Benefits claims management in the Victorian Workers Compensation scheme.
  • Strong understanding of contractual requirements and performance measures for Victorian Worksafe Agents.
  • Leadership skills, including team building, coaching, performance management, and change management.
