The Child and Youth Mental Health Service in Tasmania is growing to deliver high-quality mental health services to young people and their families.
This role involves working as a Clinical Nurse Specialist within a well-supported, innovative multidisciplinary team to provide developmentally appropriate treatment with young people and their families.
You will be undertaking clinical services through the provision of complex case management, assessment, counselling and/or therapy, including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake clinical services through the provision of complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies.
- Work alongside team leaders and consultant psychiatrists to develop new youth mental health services.
- Lead and work with a diverse group of clinicians as part of the collaborative multidisciplinary team.
The positions available are within our new teams which are currently being developed as initiatives under the CYMHS reform program. The successful applicant will have a passion for providing a person-centred approach and working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
We aim to provide support and consultation to other team members as required. This includes leading and working with an amazing group of clinicians as part of the collaborative multidisciplinary team.
