Project Positioning Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Project Positioning Specialist to join our Projects Team. This role is responsible for providing technical support to the Engineering team in defining the positional, angular, and dimensional accuracy required for various projects.

  • Assist in evaluating tenders and contracts, planning offshore positioning operations, compiling related documentation and procedures, and managing sub-contractors.
  • Determine overall positioning and survey methodology.
  • Review engineering documents and ensure compliance with Company Procedures and Work Instructions.
  • Determine offshore personnel manning requirements and define equipment needs.
  • Prepare project procedures and scopes of work for sub-contracted services.
  • Work with ROV teams to select suitable equipment and tasks.
  • Prepare associated costs and budgets.
  • Raise requisitions for procurement to rent necessary equipment.
  • Serve as point-of-contact for clients and offshore personnel.
  • Administer proposal and project data, including correspondence.
  • Monitor progress and status of offshore activities.
  • Prevent nonconformities and ensure Quality Control.

Requirements:

  • Experience in pipelay operations beneficial.
  • Australian working rights required.
