Our Mission: We empower students and their studies by providing highly engaging small-group tutoring designed to prepare them for school assessments and final exams. Our sessions are presented by experienced but young tutors who can teach the study design in a simple and intuitive yet engaging way.

Opportunity to Tutor Groups: As a VCE tutor at Contour, you can now motivate groups of students with your knowledge and experience without the hassle of more admin work and finding students. This role offers a great chance to diversify your teaching skills and experience.

Access to High-Quality Tutoring Material: You'll have access to detailed notes and resources we've created for VCE subjects, saving you time and effort in preparing for your sessions. All you need to do is read over the class workbooks beforehand and provide an excellent tutoring experience to your students.

Competitive Pay and Compensation: The starting rate ranges from $90 to $160 per 2-hour class, depending on the size of the classes you take. If you're already a veteran tutor, you may be eligible for our senior tutor role with higher rates. Plus, you'll share part of the revenue generated by your classes, giving you a sense of ownership and motivation.

Minimal Admin Work: There's almost no requirement for admin work, allowing you to focus on what matters most – teaching and mentoring students. Our support teams handle tasks like class organization, payments, and enrolments, freeing up your time to concentrate on student interactions.

Support & Personal Development: Working with us provides a collaborative environment where you can hone your skills, learn from experienced colleagues, and grow professionally. You'll receive personal feedback, routine catch-ups, peer-review sessions, and opportunities for pay rises, new classes, and work opportunities.

Subject Openings: We currently have openings for VCE Chemistry tutors, covering 1/2 and 3/4 levels.

Location Openings: We offer flexible locations across various campuses, allowing you to choose where you'd like to work based on your preferences.

Academic Requirements: While not strictly required, a 99+ ATAR score, 45+ Raw Study Score in Chemistry, First Year Uni Subject Specific Knowledge or Above, tutoring experience in Chemistry, and Academic Awards in Chemistry are all beneficial.

Personal Requirements: To be considered for this role, you should be willing to commit to full academic year work, sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), agree to a non-compete clause, and be able to travel to our various campus locations. A genuine desire to motivate students and help them achieve their potential is also essential.
