Contour Education is seeking passionate and dedicated tutors to join our team, committed to helping students achieve academic excellence in a range of VCE subjects.

We are looking for individuals who possess strong communication skills, a passion for teaching, and the ability to motivate and guide groups of students. If you're an experienced tutor or just starting out, we want to hear from you.

About the Role:

As a tutor with Contour Education, you will have the opportunity to work with students across various locations, including Glen Waverley, CBD, Box Hill, Narre Warren, and Point Cook. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality tutoring sessions, providing personalized support, and helping students develop their knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tutoring Sessions: Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions to students across various VCE subjects, including Chemistry, Maths (Methods & Specialist), Physics, Biology, and Year 7 - 10 Maths.
  • Student Support: Provide personalized support to students, addressing their individual needs and goals.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Academic Background: A minimum ATAR of 95 or above, and a raw score of 40+ in the subject(s) you're interested in tutoring.
  • Teaching Experience: Past tutoring experience and strong academic results in your field are highly regarded.
  • Personal Qualities: Honesty, integrity, empathy, energy, excellent communication skills, independence, proactiveness, willingness to listen, learn, and lead.
