This role involves boots-on-the-ground oversight, inventory management, and event execution support in maintaining clean and functional social spaces to provide an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high-quality service by maintaining clean and functional spaces for Starbase employees, guests, and residents.
  • Perform routine inspections and submit maintenance work requests to maintain spaces to the highest standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement across assigned areas by implementing enhancements per quarter.
  • Support events by coordinating social space readiness and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Maintain organized storage and supply areas, coordinate inventory management, and assist in ordering.
  • Communicate daily through reporting tools and shift pass-downs, documenting task completion and status updates.
  • Collaborate with Facilities and Housekeeping teams to escalate and track maintenance needs.
  • Lead by example through work ethic, attention to detail, and time management.
  • Assist in training and mentoring team members to promote accountability and operational excellence.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma or equivalency certificate is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of custodial, facilities maintenance, or operations experience is preferred.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks are essential.
  • Experience maintaining shared or social-use spaces is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated ability to uphold cleanliness, functionality, and guest satisfaction standards is critical.
  • Effective communication across departments and with guests is key to success.
  • Comfortable identifying issues and driving solutions is a must.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is necessary.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • The ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted is required.
  • Standing, walking, and moving throughout a large facility for long periods is necessary.
  • Availability to support overtime and occasional weekend events as needed is required.
