Process Engineer Leader Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-senior Process Engineer with a strong technical background in Chemical/Process Engineering to take on a leadership role and drive projects forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage process design through engineering phases from concept/select, FEED through to detailed design and delivery.
  • Communicate with Project Managers and Team Members to ensure Projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Ability to manage and track single-discipline projects.
  • Prepare proposals and tenders for new and ongoing works.
  • Provide technical guidance to develop junior engineers.
  • Source new clients and leverage existing relationships to promote the process offering and drive opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Process Engineering degree (or equivalent) with 15+ years process design experience in the industry.
  • CPEng or CEng/RPEQ registration.
  • Excellent skills in using Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, UniSim, and DNV PHAST software packages.
  • Sound knowledge of process safety including risk identification and assessment through HAZID/HAZOP, dispersion/radiation analysis, and hazardous area classification.
  • Skills in preparing PFD's, P&ID's, heat and material balances, instruments and equipment data sheets, utilities flow diagrams, and chemical consumption/effluent summaries.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
