Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Finance professional to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our Corporate Finance business, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Regional Head of Corporate Finance – Asia Pacific in building out the Corporate Finance business in Australia.

Main Responsibilities
  • Originate new business opportunities and execute M&A and Equity Private Placement (EPP) transactions in the Energy Transition sector, covering Asia Pacific with a focus on Australia.
  • Hold a key leadership role in the transaction execution process, performing financial modeling, valuation, and pricing analyses.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials to clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, leveraging market intelligence to provide feedback and improve capabilities within the team.
  • Provide guidance and development to junior team members, including delegation and review of tasks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent.
  • At least 6 years of experience in M&A or Investment Banking.
  • Proven capability in building strong relationships with corporate clients.
  • Strong technical knowledge of M&A transactions, modeling, and analytics.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
