Head of Procurement and Construction

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Procurement and Construction to join our team at Vestas. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for leading the procurement process for our construction and transport projects, ensuring that we secure the best value engineered solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the procurement process for construction and transport projects, ensuring that we secure the best value engineered solutions for our customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to ensure that we have access to the best possible solutions.
- Manage and coordinate the procurement process, including sourcing, contracting, and contract management.
- Work closely with our project teams to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with project objectives and timelines.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, ensuring that we minimize costs and maximize value.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in procurement, commercial, or project management, ideally within the wind energy, power plants, infrastructure, or construction industry.
- 6+ years of experience in a leadership position, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
- Strong business acumen and a passion for developing supplier relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and manage complex supplier relationships.
