Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Banquets Event Manager to join our team at InterContinental Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of events, conferences, and banquets. Your attention to detail, passion for service, and leadership skills will be essential in ensuring seamless operations and exceeding client expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing event scope and coordinating logistics
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Providing guidance and support to banquet staff to ensure high-quality service

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in banquets and events, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
