Job Title:

Accounts Receivable Specialist

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist with a background in the hotel industry to join our organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Process and dispatch invoices to customers in a timely manner
  • Monitor outstanding payments and maintain effective collections procedures
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
  • Produce and maintain financial reports related to accounts receivable
  • Accurately complete daily income reports
  • Engage with customers to address billing inquiries or issues
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing
  • Maintain adherence to established accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist, preferably in the hotel industry
  • Proficiency in Marriott PMS systems is a plus
  • Familiarity with M3 Accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of hotel billing processes and procedures
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
