  • Underwrite and analyze renewal and new business opportunities within delegated authority levels.

  • Utilize data insights and digital tools to inform pricing, coverage decisions, and risk assessments.
  • Partner across Claims, Distribution, and other underwriting lines to support multi-line opportunities.
  • Contribute to underwriting innovation by sharing insights and supporting proposition development.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • 6+ years of insurance experience, including motor underwriting and sales.
  • A business degree or equivalent, with ANZIIF CIP Senior Insurance Qualification.
  • Proven success in driving digital transformation or innovation within underwriting.
  • A strong understanding of underwriting systems, digital platforms, and data analytics.
  • Skills in risk assessment using both traditional and digital methodologies.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with internal teams and external partners.
