About the Role
  • This is a key role within our organisation, responsible for delivering complex defence projects that safeguard Australia's future.

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Project Support Officer.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate contract management and funding approvals under direction of the SEA4000 Deputy Director
  • Provide financial and budgeting support in collaboration with the Project Finance Lead and key stakeholders
  • Deliver surge support across project documentation, reporting, and committee submissions as directed by the Executive
  • Manage executive-level coordination including inbox triage, HoG tasking, and Objective structure administration
  • Support project teams and leadership with issue escalation, compliance interpretation, and functional assistance across Data, Risk, FIC, and Events
Requirements
  • Experience with Defence approvals (S23, ETPs) and procurement processes
  • Ability to interpret financial data and assist with budgeting queries
  • Skilled in inbox triage, task tracking, and Objective system management
  • Strong writing skills for briefs, reports, and committee submissions
  • Understanding of Defence policies and ability to apply regulatory frameworks
