Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Front Office Specialist to provide exceptional patient care and administrative support in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients with professionalism, empathy, and warmth
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments using practice management software efficiently
  • Process patient registrations, update electronic medical records accurately, and maintain confidentiality
  • Handle billing, including Medicare and private health insurance claims promptly and correctly
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Coordinate with medical and nursing staff to ensure seamless clinic operations
  • Perform various administrative duties, such as filing, scanning, data entry, and other tasks as required

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a medical or administrative role is preferred
  • Proficiency in medical practice software, such as Best Practice or MedicalDirector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, staff, and external stakeholders
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude to achieve high-quality results
  • Empathy and a patient-focused approach to service delivery
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional weekends
