Job Title: Environmental Sustainability Leader

About the Role:

The Environmental Sustainability Leader will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable practices within our Ballarat site. This includes leading environmental initiatives, managing waste and water usage, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sustainable practices across the site.
  • Lead environmental initiatives and projects to reduce waste, energy consumption, and carbon emissions.
  • Manage and maintain the site's Environmental Management System (EMS) in line with ISO 14001:2015 standards.
  • Collaborate with plant teams to promote environmental stewardship and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and licenses.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in environmental management, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 and environmental regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead or coach teams on sustainability initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
