Outage Planning Expert

We are seeking an Outage Planning Expert to join our team in Perth, Australia. As a key member of our Clean Energy project, you will be responsible for overseeing outage planning, coordination, and execution across the transmission line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver outage plans for transmission line energisation, underground cable commissioning, and substation upgrades.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver outage scopes safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Execute outages, ensuring all activities are performed safely, efficiently, and within the scheduled window.
  • Provide on-site leadership during outages, including real-time decision-making and issue resolution.
  • Communicate outage plans, progress, and restoration timelines to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate outage review meetings to assess performance and identify improvements.
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in outage coordination or construction project management within the power sector.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, grid operations, and outage management procedures.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling tools and outage tracking software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
