Job Summary

:

As a Graduate Project Controls Planner at Bechtel, you will assist in supporting cost estimation, analysis, and control activities, as well as schedule development, maintenance, reporting, and monitoring activities, as directed. This is a FIFO position working a 3:1 roster based in a remote location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying the scope associated with schedule activities, as directed.
  • Gather relevant information that defines general work requirements for a performing organization and unit.
  • Prepare broad activity logic and any required interfaces between activities on schedules.
  • Prepare durations for schedule activities within a discipline or specialty, as directed.
  • Gather and organize relevant quantity and workforce information for an assigned discipline or specialty.
  • Assist in routine quantity/workforce loading in support of discipline or specialty work logic.
  • Other responsibilities as designated.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Recent graduate with a Bachelor of Process, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Requires 2-4 years of related experience.
  • Prior internship experience in relevant construction fields will be viewed favorably.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel &/or Power BI tools.
  • Basic understanding of technical processes, interpretation of engineering drawings, and project management practices associated with engineering and construction projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated levels of initiative and engagement via positions of leadership in academic, sports and/or extracurricular activities.
  • Successful completion of a site medical examination.
