Hospitality Services Assistant

Mater Private Hospital Mackay is seeking a Hospitality Services Assistant to join our team in a casual capacity. This role involves contributing to the delivery of effective cleaning and hygiene services to designated areas of the hospital and preparing, assembling, and delivering patient meals.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality cleaning and hygiene services to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff
- Prepare and deliver patient meals, ensuring timely and efficient service
- Work collaboratively with the hospitality and cleaning teams to achieve shared goals and objectives
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of food hygiene principles, practices, and legislation
- Recognize and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and deliver results
- Previous experience in a hospital or hotel cleaning/good services role
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Knowledge of current food hygiene principles, practices, and legislation
- Ability to recognize and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to engage with a variety of people
