Nursing Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated nursing assistant to provide exceptional care to our residents in Western Australia. This is a permanent part-time opportunity, covering various shifts across the week, including nights.

As an integral part of our team, you will:

  • Work with other professionals to provide high-quality, safe, and effective personal care that aligns with individual resident choices and best practice.
  • Assist residents to enjoy a quality lifestyle, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living and meaningful activities.
  • Administer medication and provide assistance during mealtime.
  • Complete documentation based on Aegis requirements.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to residents, their families, and any other external parties.

Key Responsibilities

  • To assist residents with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • To prepare and serve meals and snacks to residents.
  • To administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
  • To maintain accurate records of resident care and treatment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care (or higher/equivalent).
  • Full Australian working rights and ability to pass a national police clearance.
  • Flexibility and availability on short notice for varied shifts.
  • Compassion and empathy with the aged.
  • Ability to work cooperatively within a team and with a wide range of people.
