Automation Test Lead

">About the Role:

This is a senior position within eHealth that involves developing and implementing testing solutions for the delivery of Information Management (IM)/Information Communications Technology (ICT) projects.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in planning and leading all phases of technical (automation) testing, including test strategy, resource management, cost and time estimation, and delivery of audit-ready artefacts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive test automation strategy aligned with the overall testing and development strategy
  • Evaluate, recommend, implement, and configure automation tools to establish a robust and efficient framework
  • Collaborate with the testing team and subject matter experts to create detailed test plans and test cases for automation
  • Define test data and environment requirements for automated test execution
  • Oversee the development of automated test scripts, ensuring they follow coding standards and are maintainable, scalable, and reusable
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and leading all phases of technical (automation) testing within large, complex IM/ICT programs/projects
  • Demonstrated expertise in selecting, designing, implementing, and optimising automation tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency, scalability, and maintainability
  • Ability to initiate relationships and influence key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of required IM/ICT outcomes
  • Demonstrated high level analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with a proven record in the assessment and evaluation of testing requirements within a complex IM/ICT environment
