Test Specialist

We are seeking detail-oriented and technically skilled professionals to support structured testing activities for corporate systems.

The Test Specialist will work closely with business stakeholders to understand business processes and system requirements, design and execute test cases, and automate testing using relevant tools.

A key responsibility is to integrate testing activities into Azure DevOps (ADO) Test Planning for effective test management, tracking, auditability, and defect management.

This role requires strong collaboration skills, technical proficiency in test automation, and a commitment to quality in a regulated environment.

The role is based in Brisbane with hybrid working conditions.

Due to the International nature of the role and business as a whole, there may be the requirement to support after-hours meetings, however flexibility is encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze business processes and system requirements to develop comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to validate system functionality, performance, and compliance with business needs.
  • Implement and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium or equivalent frameworks.
  • Integrate automated and manual testing activities into Azure DevOps (ADO) Test Planning for structured test execution, tracking, and reporting.
  • Manage defect logging, tracking, and resolution processes within ADO or other defect management tools, ensuring clear communication with development and business teams.
  • Participate in test planning sessions, status meetings, and retrospectives to provide testing insights and progress updates.
  • Support regression testing and continuous integration efforts to ensure system stability and quality during development cycles.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defects to support audit and compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with Test Manager, developers, and business analysts to ensure alignment of testing activities with project goals and quality standards.
  • Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and automation frameworks to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
