Room Leader Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Room Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will lead a classroom team to provide high-quality, inclusive education and care for children.

About the Role

This is a full-time role requiring the ability to work Monday to Friday between 6:30 am - 6 pm (rotating roster). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering an innovative program that promotes each child's identity, connection to community, wellbeing, learning confidence, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in providing high-quality education and care for children.
  • Develop and deliver an inclusive and innovative program.
  • Maintain a safe environment, proactively managing risks and adhering to health and hygiene protocols.
  • Lead by example in all interactions, fostering a respectful and collaborative team culture.
  • Partner with families to support their children's development and education goals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in planning, documentation, and implementing programs for children 0-6 years with regard to current pedagogies and frameworks.
  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care from a nationally approved registered training organisation or an ACECQA-approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and sector regulations.
  • Current First Aid training and CPR Certificate.
  • A valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check.
