About this Role

A well-established organisation seeks a HR Business Partner to support operational leaders and teams.

This role involves ensuring people processes run smoothly, maintaining a positive workplace and providing practical advice and support to employees and leaders.

The successful candidate will work closely with the HR and Training Manager, focusing on workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, and reporting.

You'll provide hands-on support in areas such as complex employee matters, HRIS reporting, recruitment, and training.

We're looking for someone who's happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved in whatever the business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leaders across the business to provide expert advice and guidance.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, including investigations and performance issues.
  • Keep HR systems up to date and use data to produce insightful reports.
  • Support workforce planning, performance reviews, and organisational development programs.
  • Analyse HR metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

About You:

  • You have experience supporting operational blue-collar workforces and enjoy a varied role.
  • You can pivot from one priority to the next, are organised, have strong communication skills, and can build relationships at all levels.
  • Ideal qualifications include HR, Business, Psychology, or similar, with at least 5 years' experience in a generalist or HR business partner role.
  • A solid understanding of employment law, including the Fair Work Act and awards, is essential.
  • Great communication and relationship-building skills are required, along with the ability to think strategically while being willing to roll up your sleeves when needed.
