As a compassionate individual, you will visit clients in their homes to assist with daily tasks and promote independence.

About the Role

This role involves providing personal care assistance, domestic support, and community access for older people who need help maintaining their independence at home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care assistance, including showering and medication support
  • Assist with domestic tasks, such as housekeeping and shopping
  • Support clients with community access, including transportation to appointments
  • Engage in activities with clients at our facilities

Requirements:

  • Reliability and trustworthiness
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Australian Federal Police clearance and Working with Children Check Clearance
  • First Aid Certificate and current car registration and insurance
  • Completed or in-progress Certificate III Individual Support Ageing, Disability, or Home and Community Care qualification
