We are a rapidly growing privately-owned global business with strong reputation for providing high quality environmental and advisory services. We have over 3,000 staff members in offices throughout the APAC, Europe, North, Central and South America and Africa regions.

Our team has 60+ planners nationally who work together as skilled motivated professionals with enthusiastic approach to life and work.

The Newcastle based team currently service national pipeline of projects within the built environment energy and industry sectors. Our Sydney office at modern Sub Base Platypus facility has over 100 staff across technical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage planning approvals delivery of varying levels of complexity
  • Deliver planning analysis and research via commercially astute lens to confidently deliver exceptional results
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects across various sectors
  • Develop and enhance effective relationships with clients and internal SLR team members
  • Work closely with team lead to drive team and company growth
  • Conduct thorough technical reviews and mentor junior staff
  • Liaise with clients councils consultants and government agencies
  • Use expertise to work on multi-disciplinary projects within consulting environment
  • Business development and high-level client relationship management
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Town Planning or equivalent
  • Proven record in delivering client outcomes experience in renewable energy sector will be highly regarded
  • Experience in preparing and delivering EIS for SSD and/or Infrastructure Applications
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and managing multidisciplinary projects
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team
  • Ability to take initiative and be proactive in workplace
