Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Service Supervisor to join our team at Bosch Rexroth's Clayton branch in VIC. As a key member of our service department, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and controlling the activities of our internal Service team to maintain Customer Satisfaction and meet organizational and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Sales: Drive existing strategies, visit customers, and sell service products like maintenance contracts.
  • Operational Targets: Continually strive to achieve operational targets set by the organization.
  • Quality Objectives: Ensure quality objectives are met, including lead-time, NCR, customer feedback, quality action list, calibration, testing and tagging, certification, tool listings, etc.
  • Employee Management: Supervise employees, contractors, and visitors as required from HSE and Quality perspectives.
  • Internal Service Jobs: Coordinate internal service jobs and release and coordinate service production orders.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to Sales Engineers and Technicians.
  • Team Development: Train, guide, and support junior staff (apprentice and trades assistants) to improve capacity within the team.

Requirements:

  • Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen
  • Mechanical Trade certificate with minimum 5 years post-trade experience
  • Proven experience managing a team (Team Leader/Supervisor/Leading Hand)
  • Able to demonstrate a high-level technical knowledge of major hydraulic components
  • Previous experience in hydraulic component repair
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Effective teamwork skills and attention to detail
  • Some MS Office skills required
