About Our Youth Support Program

We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate individuals to join our team as Youth Support Workers. This dynamic role involves providing individualized support to children and young people residing in out-of-home care, with a focus on empowering them to build skills and strengths within a therapeutic model of care.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to form strong relationships with young people, colleagues, and other professionals involved in their care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing personalized plans to support young people's goals and aspirations
  • Providing daily care and support, including assistance with household duties and transportation to appointments
  • Facilitating connections to family, culture, and community, promoting social inclusion and participation
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care and support
