Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about data and technology, and want to make a real impact.

About the Role

The Data Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing data architecture frameworks that enable best practice data lifecycle management and ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data security controls required by government agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Map existing data holdings, inputs and dependencies impacted by the project
  • Investigate and recommend optimisation of the use of data holdings for the different streams of the project
  • Design and implement data architecture and integration frameworks
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimise existing reporting processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Data Architect in Australian Public Service settings
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills
  • A working understanding of data security controls required by government agencies
