Field Maintenance Supervisor

This role involves planning and coordinating mobile maintenance activities to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment.

About the Position
  • Coordinate daily and weekly maintenance tasks, prioritizing resources and machinery as needed.
  • Solve technical and logistical problems related to equipment maintenance and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing maintenance activities.
  • Identify training needs for team members and develop strategies to address skill gaps.
  • Mentor and coach employees to improve their skills and performance.
Requirements
  • Trade certificate in diesel fitting or auto electrician.
  • At least 5 years of post-trade experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working with large fleets of mobile mining equipment.
  • Experience with mine system maintenance is a must.
  • Strong computer skills are essential.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Ability to mentor and coach others is highly desirable.
  • Good knowledge of planning, scheduling, and preventative maintenance processes is required.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
