This is a temporary vacancy open to expressions of interest. The engagement will not exceed 12 months.

Mitchelton State High School is a vibrant and inclusive secondary school located in Brisbane's north-west.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operate autonomously in the provision of business services to the school, in an environment that exhibits complexity and requires information interpretation and process adaptation.
  2. Provide administrative support including report preparation, correspondence, problem identification, research, expert advice, and solution recommendation.
  3. Supervise and manage school support staff, monitor workloads and performance, identify workforce capability requirements, and model performance standards.
  4. Support the Principal with budget management, financial activities, producing financial reports, seeking external advice, proposing resource management alternatives, and suggesting courses of action for routine and non-routine financial matters.

The successful candidate will have relevant work history and be a current Queensland Government employee.
