Operations Director Role

The ideal candidate for this Operations Director position will have a strong background in hospitality management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large teams across multiple departments.

Responsibilities will include overseeing junior managers, implementing staff training programs, creating and managing rotas, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and coordinating promotions and events. Proficiency in POS systems and venue management software is required, as well as experience with scheduling and roster management tools.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader who can drive business growth, improve profitability, and maintain high customer satisfaction levels through effective team management and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue, including management of junior managers and staff.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve profitability.
  • Manage staff training programs, create and manage rotas, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Coordinate promotions and events to attract and retain customers.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-5 years' experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large teams across multiple departments.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret budgets and reports.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and venue management software.
