About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Community Occupational Therapist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality assessments and interventions to our clients to support independent living.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and develop personalized intervention plans to promote independence and well-being.
  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to clients in their own homes, community settings, or other designated locations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including case managers, allied health professionals, GPs, and community organizations, to ensure seamless care coordination and effective client outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive client records, including assessment reports, intervention plans, and progress notes.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of best practice guidelines and policies.

Requirements
  • Occupational Therapy degree, with General AHPRA registration.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a community setting and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • Clean driver's license, access to own vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance.
  • Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or ability to obtain.
