Financial Accountant Role

The Financial Accountant will play a key role in supporting the financial reporting process, working closely with the Senior Financial Accountant (SFA) to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist with the preparation of supplementary monthly and quarterly close deliverables, including financial statements and management reports.
  • Support the team in meeting internal and external audit requirements, including the preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit queries.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the financial reporting process.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to identify and address any financial reporting issues or discrepancies.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply accounting standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting software.
  • CA, CPA, or ACA designation, with a strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards and US GAAP.
