Electrical and Telecommunications Technician Position

As a skilled Electrical and Telecommunications Technician, you will be responsible for working on various electrical and data tasks, including power systems, communications infrastructure, and cabling. Your primary goal will be to install and commission fibre optic and copper infrastructure, ensuring that it is functioning properly and efficiently.

  • Conduct electrical and data tasks, focusing on power systems, communications infrastructure, and cabling.
  • Install lighting systems and emergency egress lighting to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Connect, test, and commission fibre optic and copper infrastructure to optimize performance.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Electrical licence (valid in NSW) and ACMA cabling licence with endorsements in structured and fibre optics.
  • Possess a current WHS White Card.
  • Bring relevant experience within the electrical and communications industry, specifically in data centres.
  • Meet the requirements for NV1 security clearance or be willing and able to undergo this clearance upon employment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform electrical maintenance in our environment.
  • Be a team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Display exceptional safety awareness and attention to detail to maintain high standards of workmanship.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and a focus on health, safety, environment, and quality.
