Global Infrastructure Operations Manager
The backbone of our cloud operations is the design, planning, delivery, and operation of global infrastructure to maintain seamless cloud operations.
Complex supply chain challenges are tackled continuously to meet growing customer demands. The ideal candidate will lead and ensure 99.999% uptime of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems that support critical server operations.
Strong communication skills, expertise in troubleshooting complex technical issues, and the ability to optimize operational costs while maintaining exceptional reliability standards are essential. A continuous improvement philosophy and growth mindset, with experience in data center operations, facilities management, and team leadership are required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and maintaining critical data center infrastructure through rigorous Change Management processes to ensure high-quality operations without customer impact.
- Managing teams of engineering technicians in all facets of their career.
- Driving continuous improvement projects from conception to completion, collaborating with various support teams across the organization.
- Correcting with third-party vendors to ensure SLA compliance while managing operations effectively.
- Responding to after-hours issues within data centers and managing investigations, mitigation, and recovery of issue(s).
- Promoting a culture of operational excellence through preventive maintenance, risk management, and process improvement initiatives.
