Job Overview

AWS infrastructure services are responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure.

The team supports all AWS data centers and the equipment that ensures our customers have continuous access to innovative solutions.

You'll join a diverse group of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles.

Collaborate with people across AWS to provide safety and security while providing capacity at the lowest possible cost.

We foster an inclusive culture that encourages bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in a 24/7 rotating shift pattern.
  • Undertake and support management of routine maintenance and emergency service of critical systems.
  • Install new rack capacity and provision power/cooling.
  • On-site manage contractors and vendors, ensuring work complies with established practices, procedures, and local legislation.
  • Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports and documentation of critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance.
  • Manage the facility's assets.
  • Generate change management requests and incident management tickets for all facility-related events.
  • Assist in resolving infrastructure engineering and services issues.
About the Role

Work schedules may change depending on site needs. Shifts are 12 hours and rotate on a predefined schedule.

Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs.

Perform rack installs and decommissioning, and facility management.

Provide operational readings and KPIs to ensure uptime.

On-site manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with practices, procedures, and local legislation.

Performance and oversight of maintenance and operations on electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
