Procurement Officer
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Officer to join our team at Voith Group. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring goods and services to meet the needs of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Source and procure goods and services in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuous improvement in the delivery of goods and services.
- Analyse market trends and assess risk to inform procurement planning and sourcing decisions.
- Manage procurement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Monitor and report on procurement performance to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, engineering, or quantity surveying.
- Proven experience in procurement policy, processes, and legislation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
