Job Description

The Senior Security Analyst will be engaged in all aspects of a project / product lifecycle for the Identity & Access Management Platforms. This includes requirements gathering and elaboration, process analysis and mapping, functional design, iteration / implementation planning and execution, quality assurance & acceptance, data migration, release management and transition to the BAU.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IAM Tools and Technologies: Understand the various IAM tools and technologies available and articulate the business requirements for IAM functions.
  • Access Control: Work closely with the platform owners to ensure that the right people have access to the right resources.
  • Participate in IAM Projects: Participate in IAM projects and initiatives.
  • Access Requirements: Work with internal customers and application teams to understand access requirements.
  • Audit and Review: Participate in IAM audits and review access control reports to identify potential risks.
  • Recommendations: Recommend improvements, corrections, remediation for associated projects or current internal processes.
  • Business Requirements Gathering: Undertake the detailed business requirements gathering and documentation activities using Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies as required in the relevant project or work-stream.
  • Functional Design: Work closely with the business and IT teams to understand and solve the business problem and develop options for the functional design & business change.
  • Requirements Management: Elicit, define, and manage requirements to support solution implementation.
  • Onboarding Materials: Develop and maintain onboarding materials and templates for projects requiring Identity and Access Management service.
  • Data Integration: Lead or contribute into the data integration functional design, functional mapping, and the overall data integration delivery.
  • Data Migration: Lead or contribute into the data migration activities.
  • Quality Assurance: Work with the quality assurance team(s) to assure business and technical acceptance of the solution being delivered.
  • Project Planning: Manage work-stream, or work with the delivery team to contribute in planning and execution of the project activities.
  • Change Management: Lead or contribute into the change management activities to support project implementations and transition into the BAU.
  • Documentation: Maintain IAM platform level documentation.

About You and Your Skills:

  • Formal Tertiary Qualification: Formal tertiary qualification preferred.
  • Retail Experience: Experience in retail environment advantageous.
  • Information Harnessing: Able to harness information and opportunities.
  • Specialist Expertise: Values specialist expertise and capitalises on the knowledge and skills of others within the organisation. Contributes own expertise to achieve outcomes for the business unit.
