About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Strategist to join our Group Risk team at Coles Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and driving transformation of risk management and governance programs across our organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintenance and update of Coles risk management strategy, framework and related programs, policies and standards.
  • Assessing and benchmarking the design and implementation of risk management practices and behaviours, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Partnering with the business and other second line teams, to support implementation of risk management strategy, practices, and behaviours.
  • Maintenance of the framework for review and update of Coles Group Policies, and management of Coles Conflict of Interest program.
  • Facilitating and preparing risk and compliance reports for Coles Group Board, Audit and Risk Committee and Executive Leadership Team.
  • Delivering risk and governance training and communications, and developing the risk management community, across Coles.

About you and your skills

We are looking for a highly experienced Risk Management Strategist with a proven track record in designing, developing and operationalising risk and governance practices and behaviours in business activities and processes. You will have advanced skills in preparing Board and Executive level reports, establishing reporting processes, and analysing, interpreting, and presenting complex information.
