Job Overview

The Operations Supervisor role requires a proactive leader who can inspire a team to achieve performance goals and productivity standards that align with company objectives. The team will be monitored by the Operations Supervisor, who will work closely with the Operations Shift Manager and Delivery Station Manager to identify and resolve issues. A strong health and safety culture will be fostered by ensuring adherence to relevant laws and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a strong health and safety culture.
  • Assist in the daily oversight and management of departmental tasks.
  • Conduct staff debriefs.
  • Perform duties in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Allocate tasks to staff as needed.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels for your area.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new associates.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Shift Manager and Delivery Station Manager.
Requirements:
  • Experience in warehouse operations.
  • Experience in logistics.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20kg.
  • Experience managing teams.
  • Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite specifically Excel and Outlook.
