About the Role:

Webuild S.p.A. is seeking a highly skilled Material Quality Inspector to join our team on the Snowy 2.0 project. As a Material Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of permanent supplies and materials used in the construction of this iconic project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and verify the quality of permanent supplies and materials in accordance with relevant Employer's Requirements and FGJV plans and procedures.
  • Coordinate with the procurement department to ensure timely delivery and inspection of permanent supplies.
  • Draft and implement corrective and preventive actions for non-conforming materials.
  • Assess and verify quality records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Communicate and resolve quality issues with procurement representatives and FGJV Material Managers.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the construction industry, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of quality management systems and statistical techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a remote and challenging environment with extreme cold temperatures.
