**Acute Surgical Leadership Opportunity**
We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse to lead our nursing team in an acute surgical ward.
About the Role:
The ward is a 34-bed facility catering to various specialties including vascular, plastics, urology, thoracic, bariatric, orthopaedics, spinal, colorectal, and neurosurgery.
As a leader, you will provide clinical guidance, dynamic planning, and supportive leadership to enable the nursing team to deliver exceptional patient care and service.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and competence in an acute surgical setting, with a passion for client care and customer-focused service aligned with our core values.
Essential skills include excellent communication, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and nights.
Requirements:
You will need:
- Relevant qualifications and registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Clinical leadership experience or postgraduate specialty qualifications
- HDU experience desirable
- Current clinical experience working in acute surgical services
- Demonstrated personal commitment to ongoing professional development
