Job DescriptionAs a senior geotechnical engineer, you will play a key role in improving paste backfill performance through optimisation of rheology, reticulation, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), and backfill strength design.

About the RoleThe successful candidate will lead and contribute to projects focused on expanding and enhancing paste backfill infrastructure. You will maintain and execute QA/QC programs in alignment with the site's Backfill Management Plan. Additionally, you will review and update paste backfill standards and procedures as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive improvements in paste backfill performance through optimisation of rheology, reticulation, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), and backfill strength design.
  • Lead and contribute to projects focused on expanding and enhancing paste backfill infrastructure.
  • Maintain and execute QA/QC programs in alignment with the site’s Backfill Management Plan.
  • Review and update paste backfill standards and procedures as needed.
  • Provide expert guidance on cemented paste backfill strength design aligned to mining methods and stope sequencing.
