Drive strategic investment risk management by leading a senior team to develop and execute frameworks that align with the organisation's risk appetite and regulatory standards.
About This RoleThis role plays a critical part in shaping and maintaining a strong investment risk culture across the fund, ensuring robust governance and oversight of all investment risk types, including market, credit, liquidity, counterparty, and operational risks.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic investment risk frameworks that support informed decision-making and optimal risk-adjusted returns.
- Lead independent oversight and challenge of all investment risk types to maintain a strong risk culture.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to drive risk-informed decision-making and optimise portfolio performance.
- Deliver expert risk insights and recommendations to stakeholders on portfolio construction and investment strategy.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal mandates, embedding risk practices into business lifecycles.
Foster a strong risk culture and lead a high-performing team of investment risk professionals, driving capability and continuous improvement.
As a trusted leader, you will bring a collaborative and empowering leadership style that drives performance and builds resilience. Extensive experience in risk management within financial services is essential.
