About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and commercially savvy Account Manager to grow our business and sales within the optical industry.

You will have three main responsibilities: protecting our core business, growing our market share, and hunting out new business opportunities.

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with Independent Optometry customers.
  2. Analyse sales data and convert it into actionable insights.
  3. Upskill practice staff on the benefits of our products.
  4. Work closely with our Customer Service teams to ensure a high level of service and support.
Key Responsibilities

The role involves:

  • Protecting and growing our core business.
  • Hunting out and acquiring new business opportunities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A vehicle and current open driver's license.
  • Experience working with practice staff.
  • Ability to analyse sales data and convert it to actionable insights.
  • 3+ years in optical sales.
  • Above average Excel and Microsoft suite skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
Desirable Criteria

It would be beneficial if you had:

  • Qualifications and/or experience in Optical Dispensing.
  • Prior experience in using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
