Cloud Computing Architect

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Computing Architect to join our team in Canberra. As a key member of our Public Sector group, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering our strategy to build mind share and broad use of cloud services within critical strategic accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures for our customers.
  • Drive technical solutions discussions with customer teams.
  • Build relationships to understand our customers and partners.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor, influencing stakeholders from technical teams to executives.
  • Shape the direction of our products and services through gathering feedback from customers.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering).
  • At least 7 years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
  • The ability to take the lead on complex technical projects.
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience architecting or deploying cloud/virtualization solutions in enterprise customers.
  • The ability to create proof of concepts, demos, and/or scripts from scratch.
  • Experience in working with Federal government.
  • The ability to present to technical and business audiences.
