Job Opportunity: Skilled Tradesperson

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our engineering team. This integral role provides support to the business and offers an amazing opportunity to play a key part in maintaining one of the world's largest hotels.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out urgent and non-urgent maintenance requests;
  • Supporting day-to-day operations of the engineering team;
  • Assisting external contractors and outsourced preventative maintenance programs;
  • Monitoring stock levels of critical spares;
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with property guidelines;
  • Supporting energy, water, and waste conservation initiatives;
  • Supporting fire life safety, security, and asset protection at the hotel.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year experience in engineering/facilities;
  • Hospitality experience advantageous;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail;
  • EWP license advantageous.
