About the Role

We are seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our team in providing clinical speech pathology services to admitted wards in Albury & Wodonga hospitals. The role involves participating in caseload rotations across admitted services and working flexibly across all wards in response to clinical demand.

This position is ideal for someone who wants to develop clinical skills in a range of acute & admitted subacute settings, including opportunities to complete workplace learning in areas such as VFSS, FEES, laryngectomy, tracheostomy & paediatric feeding.

We are looking for a candidate who has a strong interest in speech pathology and is eligible for full practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in speech pathology and experience in assessing, diagnosing and managing communication, swallowing and oral motor disorders.

The successful candidate will be required to communicate effectively across a variety of teams in the advocacy of patient centred care and resolution of conflict. They should also have a demonstrated commitment to quality and safety improvement activities, personal workload management and professional development.
