Highly Technical Position - Cloud Architect

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills in cloud architecture, software development, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, and data analytics.

  • Design, build, operate, and secure cloud environments for customers.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver complex technical projects.
  • Develop and maintain deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad knowledge of how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients. They will also be able to present to technical and business audiences (training, workshops, publications).

  • Craft highly-scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems.
  • Build relationships with customers and partners to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Act as a thought leader in the wider community, educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers, blogs, and running workshops.
  • Collaborate with engineering and service teams to gather feedback from customers and shape the direction of products and services.
A Day in the Life

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will work on complex technical projects, requiring the participation of other teams to deliver.

Requirements

The following qualifications are required for this position:

  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas experience.
  • 7+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred for this position:

  • Experience working with Federal government.
  • Able to create proof of concepts, demos, and/or scripts from scratch or leveraging reusable components.
